I have seen many people facing this same problem and the reason is not colour correcting properly. Colour correcting is a makeup technique used by makeup artists to cancel out all the imperfections or discolourations on the face by using certain coloured concealer. Colour correcting helps to lay down a proper blank canvas for foundation and concealer. Here is a list of colour correctors which will help you to understand better. Orange or red corrector- cancels blue hues such as dark circles. Green corrector- correct the redness caused sunburn or breakout. Purple or lavender corrector- brightens yellow or dull undertones.
