Hey, I'm Nandita Chandel a certified makeup artist and I would like to share few tips and secrets of perfect makeup look on your own. First and foremost step of starting your makeup is with 'CTM' that is cleansing, toning and moisturising. Most of us just rush in for applying products directly instead of prepping our skin first. This CTM process preps the skin for smooth application of foundation and concealer and does not makes it look cakey. Personally I recommend using any face wash or cleaners according to your skin type. When it comes to toner I would highly recommend non alcoholic toners as it tightens your skin and gives you a slight glow and never use alcohol based toners on regular bases because it will age your skin very fast and will give you wrinkles. After cleansing and toning, the last step is moisturizing.For dry skin it's better to use petroleum or oil based moisturizers and as for oily skin water based and gel based moisturizer will be your bestfriend. With this our CTM process is completed and our skin is ready to pop on some makeup.
